HEINE BETA X ophthalmoscope is the most advanced direct ophthalmoscope with a durable, lightweight and ergonomic design.
It features the elaborated AOS+ (Aspherical Optical System) optical system and LEDHQ. AOS+ provides crisp and clear views of the fundus, reducing reflections in the cornea and iris that can interfere with examinations, by separating the illumination and observation paths and incorporating the new crescent-shaped illumination.

The LEDHQ illumination provides homogeneous, bright exposure with true colour rendering for high contrast and extremely detailed views.
The exclusive HEINE focusCONTROL allows practitioners to simply switch the focus between the anterior segment (cornea) and posterior segment (fundus) of the eye.
The polarisation filter can simply be swivelled in or out depending on examination requirements and purpose, 7 different apertures.

Microprocessor controlled smart illumination control wheel for large or precise fine tuning of illumination intensity.
The comprehensive functions and improved usability make it a versatile instrument suitable for a wide range of examinations and for all users, including ophthalmologists, optometrists, general practitioners, paediatricians and other healthcare professionals.
