BD PosiFlushâ„¢ XS Prefilled Saline Syringe is a sterile, ready to use, polypropylene syringe with Luer-lockâ„¢ tip, that contains sterile and non-pyrogenic isotonic 0.9% sodium chloride solution. It is used in oncology, interventional radiology and critical care for flushing of in-situ peripheral intravenous catheters (PIVCs), peripherally inserted central catheters (PICCs), central venous catheters (CVCs) and implanted venous access parts.
