Description: Kerracel™ gelling fiber dressing 10x10 cm
Kerracel™ gelling fibre dressing is a versatile carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) primary dressing for moderately exuding wounds.
Made of 100% carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) fibres, Kerracel™ dressing absorbs and retains high levels of exudate, forming a gel which conforms to the wound bed and supports a moist wound healing environment.
As fluid is absorbed vertically and locked away, peri-wound skin is protected from maceration.
The unstitched design aids microcontouring to the wound bed, minimising the space where bacteria can proliferate.
Conformability aids ease of application, whilst its ability to retain integrity when wet helps to facilitate integral removal.
