Sterile catheter gels are sterile, water-soluble, non-irritating lubricating gels with supportive local anesthetic effect with 2% Lidocaine and antiseptic properties with 0.05% Chlorhexidine. They are used to facilitate insertion of catheters and other medical instruments (catheterization, cystoscopy) into the urethra and bladder. They reduce the risk of urethral trauma during catheter insertion and possibility of infection by reducing friction. Latex free and hypoallergenic. Effective and long-lasting lubrication. It can be applied easily. It has ideal viscosity. Class III
After Gamma sterilization it may change the colour over time from transparent to yellowish or pinkish.
