BD Insyte™ IV catheters are intravascular radiopaque catheters with Luer-Lock cone. Intended to be inserted into patient’s peripheral vascular system for short term use to sample blood, monitor blood pressure or administer fluids. Needle is internally and externally lubricated with triple sharpening (backcut grinding). BD Vialon™ material softens up to 70% in the vein, enabling longer dwell times and reducing the chance of mechanical phlebitis and infiltration.
